It just occurred to me this morning -- June 27, 2008 -- that I've been at Bedford/St. Martin's for 8 years, the longest I've been at any one place of employment ever. So to mark the occasion, I thought I'd try a new blog. This one will offer random observations about textbook publishing, teaching and learning, technology and learning, e-learning, and other fun stuff from my perspective as a new media editor for Bedford/St. Martin's.

My Short Bio

Nick Carbone
I work as the Director of New Media for Bedford/St. Martin's, a college textbook publisher. Before coming to this job, I was a full time academic, teaching writing at Colorado State University, Marlboro College, UMass, Amherst, Lyndon State College, and Boston College.
